Keegan Downs Buck & DEERfest Award-Winning Doe

A little friendly competition is never a bad thing!

On opening day of rifle season, Phil Brown took his neighbor Keegan hunting with his sights set on winning the youth contest at Trophy DEERfest.

After passing on a buck that probably wouldn't beat friend and competitor Cora Cleveland's impressive kill, the patience paid off!

Congratulations Keegan on taking home the title for heaviest doe, as well as getting a nice 8-point buck at the 11th hour!

What a shot! On opening day for youth rifle, Jason Cleveland's daughter Cora took down High & Tight, a buck they had been keeping tabs on since 2017.
